A key component of the Namibia Training Authority’s mandate is the promotion of technical and vocational career paths and options amongst young Namibians.

In demystifying the dominant negative societal perceptions around such careers, the NTA advocates for more technically-inclined youth to take up technical and vocational career options in support of the following broad objectives:
• To promote technical and vocational career options as viable and sustainable options; and
• To overturn negative societal perceptions around technical and vocational career options as low-status options which hold limited prospects for individual career growth.
